And Where to get Your Credit Report and FICO

The credit bureaus must share your information?

They know your credit scores. Do you?

However, if you had your credit report sitting in front of you, would you know what to do with it?

Would you know what should be paid off and what shouldn't?

Some buyer's credit requires everything cleaned up. Others don't.

Some lenders, for some loans, require borrowers to simply explain the negatives contained on your credit report.

If your credit report contains incorrect data, you must dispute it, using a similar form issued by each credit agency stating it.

To remove inaccurate information from one credit bureau, say, Experian, you must have run a copy of their report which includes it.

It is recommended to secure all three bureaus' reports if questionable items appear on one.

Most underwriters (those who give your "loan package" the stamp of approval) require all three reports to be included.

The three most popular (because they are the most widely used) national credit bureaus can be contacted for a copy of your credit report. Their websites spell out the ease by which you may obtain your credit report.

When you contact me to represent you as your agent, we can discuss your credit report and the accompanying FICO scores. More FICO.
